Cancellation & Rescheduling
Applies to rooms and experiences alike, measured against the trip/stay date — never the order date.
- Cancel for a full refund with 72+ hours notice.
- Reschedule with 48+ hours notice.
- Inside those windows: zero refund.
- Operator-initiated weather cancellation: full refund or credit.
- No-shows: no refund.
All refunds are reviewed and approved by staff before any money moves. Refunds are never automatic.
A prior $10 cancellation fee was dropped per ownership; reinstate on request.
Taxes
- Lodging (rooms + campsites): 14% — 8% Allegany County Hotel/Motel Tax + 6% Maryland State Sales & Use Tax.
- Cafe food + retail merch: 6% Maryland State Sales & Use Tax.
- Guided experiences & rentals: 0% — a service, not a taxable good or accommodation.
Check-in & Check-out — 24-Hour Contactless
Check-in is fully self-service and contactless — no front desk, no waiting. Arrive any hour and check in on your device.
Your room door code is revealed on-device and texted to your verified phone the moment you tap Check In. The code is unique to your stay and active only for your stay window.
Tap Check Out on your device by 11:00 AM. A reminder is sent before 11:00 AM. If you haven't checked out by 11:00 AM, the system records checkout automatically and flags it for staff.
