A nighttime railbike coast down 2.5 miles of illuminated railroad — hundreds of twinkling lights, holiday displays and Christmas music along the route, then a shuttle back up to the depot. No pedaling required.

- Priced per person — $29, or $20 on select December weeknights. Book it on its own, or add a winter room for the night (Railrider Retreat Suite or Big Savage Bunk Room). Dress warmly: it is an open-air winter ride.

Nights and departures
November 27, 2026 – January 2, 2027. Departures nightly at 5:00, 6:00 and 7:00 PM, plus an 8:00 PM run Thursday through Sunday. No rides December 24 or 25. Check in at the Frostburg Depot (19 Depot St) 30 minutes before your departure to sign the waiver.
$29 per person — $20 per person on select December weeknights (Nov 30, Dec 1–2, 7–9, 14–16, 21–23 and 28–30). Priced per rider, not per railbike; tickets carry the 5% Tracks & Yaks activity tax.
Riders go in groups of five or six railbikes with a guide on the front bike setting the pace. Every seat has a seatbelt; toddlers ride in their own seat with a harness and infants ride in a front carrier on a parent. The ride is not wheelchair accessible, and the weight limit is 300 pounds per seat.
